This is how we celebrate Eid!

Eid ul-Fitr Celebrations at The Rhoda Institute

Have a glimpse of the beautiful Eid ul-Fitr celebrations held at The Rhoda Institute / Institut Rhoda by Sanad Collective on June 25th, 2017. Share in the memories of this joyous day and spread the happiness! We start the day with praising God, proclaiming His greatness and expressing thanks for His generosity. We then continue that praise in prayer and absorbing the sermon helping direct us in our path to becoming godly people by planting the trees of thankfulness, patience, and other God-pleasing qualities inside ourselves. That praise continues again in song and dance and merriment in community in the beautiful Peace Garden behind the Masjid. Finally we culminate this day of praising God in a tree planting ceremony: we plant an actual apple tree that will in sha Allah stand here in this Masjid garden long after we ourselves have passed from this earth. We plant a tree because of the symbol and beauty of trees: well-rooted, reaching for the heavens, and sharing fruits. We all must plant trees of goodness inside us. Spread the reflection, the wisdom, and the joy of a life that has meaning, a Path that makes total sense, a harmony between the inner and the outer.sanadcollective.orgFull Eid Sermon : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXUEqpcSPI4

Spread the reflection, the wisdom, and the joy of a life that has meaning, a Path that makes total sense, a harmony between the inner and the outer.
